It should go without saying that Whitney Houston had a once-in-a-generation voice, the kind of soaring, peerless pipes that somehow made the highest, piercing notes sound effortlessly sung.  Whitney inspired millions with her voice.  We would be remiss not to celebrate the life of someone so inspirational.
