Her Majesty Arrives In Toronto

Her Majesty, The Queen of Canada arrived in Toronto earlier this evening, greeted by Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.  The Queen arrived on a Government Owned CC-150 Aircraft after a day trip to Manitoba. 

Over the next three days, Her Majesty and His Royal Highness will witness the province's innovative know-how, celebrate its culture and feel the community spirit of Ontarians. They will visit and attend many events throughout Toronto and Waterloo regions including: 

-The Cathedral Church of St. James, Toronto 
-The Queen's Plate at Woodbine Racetrack, Toronto 
-Research In Motion, Waterloo 
-Pinewood Studios, Toronto 
-Queen's Park, Toronto 

This is the final leg of the 2010 Royal Tour which saw the Queen and the Duke tour through Nova Scotia and Manitoba. 

Premier Dalton McGuinty stated “The Royal Tour gives Ontario the opportunity to showcase Ontario's culture, arts and innovation.  We are a diverse province of people whose ingenuity, entrepreneurship and community spirit are creating a strong future.”.
